'Vanderpump Rules' star Lisa Vanderpump supports Andy Cohen amid lawsuit, calls cocaine allegations 'not concrete'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Real Housewives of New York City' star Leah McSweeney has filed a civil lawsuit against Bravo and Andy Cohen, accusing 'Watch What Happens Live' host of using cocaine. Lisa Vanderpump is now stepping in to save her friend's reputation.
When asked about the 'Vanderpump Rules' star's view on whether Bravo stars get favorable edits because they use cocaine with Andy at the parties, Lisa replied, "Nobody gets a good edit on that show, that's a fact."
"And, Andy doing coke, I know because I have had parties with him, hundreds of times in my business, in my house, in New York. I've never seen anything like that," added Lisa to TMZ. She continued, "I would categorically say no, he wouldn't do that. I know for a fact. In fact, I know for a fact he wouldn't do that."
Calling Leah's accusations "bullsh*t," Lisa said that they are just "allegations" and nothing concrete. Lisa went on to defend Andy, saying he uses edibles but has never touched cocaine. She also slammed other co-stars, saying, "I've seen others do it, but not him." She further protected herself from the allegations by stating, "Not me."
'Vanderpump Rules' star Lisa Vanderpump calls Ariana Madix sharing Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss' p*rn 'ridiculous'
At first, Lisa tried to avoid speaking about Raquel Leviss' lawsuit against Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix for recording and sharing "revenge p*rn."
Lisa then addressed the matter and said, "That's ridiculous. I think if you don't want somebody to share your p*rn, then don't send it to your best friend's boyfriend." Calling it "inappropriate behavior," Lisa joked about Ariana not sharing the p*rn with her.
Why is 'RHONY' alum Leah McSweeney suing Andy Cohen?
Leah filed a lawsuit against Bravo and Andy Cohen on February 27, accusing them of encouraging substance abuse. The reality TV star also claimed that Bravo intentionally fueled her alcoholism to boost ratings for the show.
Leah was struggling with alcohol use disorder and had been sober for several years while filming the show. However, with alleged constant pressure from producers, she started drinking. She claimed that the producers "intentionally planned scenarios intended to exacerbate her difficulties."
The lawsuit targeted NBC Universal, Warner Bros. Discovery, and production company Shed Media. Reportedly, the lawsuit claimed that the show and the producers "colluded with her colleagues to pressure Ms. McSweeney to drink, retaliated against her when she wanted to stay sober, and intentionally failed to provide reasonable accommodations that would aid her efforts to stay sober and able to perform."
