'Vanderpump Rules' star Tom Sandoval faces Internet wrath for avoiding 'accountability' in cheating on Ariana Madix
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Vanderpump Rules' star Tom Sandoval made shocking claims about his ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix.
During his recent guest appearance on Nick Viall's 'The Viall Files' podcast, Tom asserted that Ariana encouraged him to cheat. Social media users criticized the reality star for not taking responsibility for his actions.
During the episode, Tom claimed that Ariana "belittled" him throughout their almost 10 years of relationship and pushed him to cheat with co-star, Rachel Leviss.
He said, "If you want me to be honest, I loved, I love Ariana. I do. I really care about her." He added, "But like, this person throughout our relationship talked to me like I was down here, all the time."
Tom further noted, "And it's unfortunate that like, my way of acting out against that was like, me also like, just getting belittled, belittled, belittled all the f**king time."
Tom also pondered his attraction to Rachel, specifying "somebody who's in her 20s," and contended that his actions were a result of his deep-seated low self-worth.
Tom and Rachel engaged in a months-long affair that ultimately led to the end of his relationship with Ariana.
The revelation of the affair occurred after the reality stars completed filming for 'Vanderpump Rules' Season 10, and Bravo cameras resumed to capture the ensuing aftermath.
Meanwhile, the critics slammed Tom in the comments and noted, "Ahhh yes of course it was Ariana’s fault for him cheating!!"

Tom Sandoval calls his ex Ariana Madix a 'petty'
Tom Sandoval recently accused his ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix of being "petty." Just two weeks after Ariana filed a lawsuit against Tom, the 'Vanderpump Rules' star revealed that the actress turned down his seemingly fair offer on the property.
During the podcast, Tom claimed, "Ariana is making it out to be that me wanting to keep the house is a psychopath move, but it's not." He explained, "She's like, 'Oh, he gave me a s**t offer. I gave her an offer of $3.1 million. We bought our house for $2.05 [million]. … I gave her an offer to buy her out."
Tom further claimed that Ariana "hasn't paid a single bill for this house in eight months" and hasn't lived in their home for "two or three months."
He alleged about Ariana, "She's being petty and she doesn't want me to have the house," adding, "That's the petty [move]. 'I am breaking up with you, and I don't want anybody to have [it].'"
Why did 'Vanderpump Rules' star Ariana Madix sue Tom Sandoval?
According to the court documents obtained by TMZ, Ariana and Tom had a disagreement about the sale of the home that they co-own together and still cohabitated months after their March 2023 split.
However, Ariana now hoped that the court would declare that she and Tom must sell the home as a "partition by sale," which means they would sell the house and split the proceeds.
The court documents further noted that Ariana also requested an "equitable allocation of the proceeds of the sale."
Ariana's request would include the "payment of the debt secured by same and the costs of partition," as well as the inclusion of attorneys' fees, and title expenses.
Meanwhile, Tom had been against a "division in kind" which would allow them both to retain ownership of the property.
Raquel Leviss calls out Tom Sandoval for playing a 'victim'
During an episode of her podcast. 'Rachel Goes Rogue,' Raquel said, "I know that he’s really trying to milk the victim role to make himself look better, I think, but in reality, it’s making him look worse."
She also accused Tom of "playing the offensive" after finding out that she was releasing her own podcast to share her side of the story.
Additionally, Raquel said that she wondered if Sandoval had masterminded the whole affair.
She shared in her podcast, "The thought has crossed my mind." Bravo star elaborated, "He is known to self-produce, and all he has is this show... When we did have conversations like, 'How is this going to play out?' He said, 'We can be together next season.'"
Raquel explained, "I think he had his motivation behind it that really escalated the situation. Whereas if it wasn’t a reality TV show and we weren’t all filming, I wonder if it would be like this."
