It does seem like there are no limits to Lisa’s success following her solo debut with ‘Lalisa’ as she keeps reaching new highs as an artist. As a member of Blackpink, Thai citizen Lisa already had solo fans called "Lilies" as the group’s lead rapper and main dancer. Now Lillies have more to crow about because it is a brand new day and Lisa has broken a brand new record.

On November 9, it was reported that Lisa has a new first in terms of her solo release. ‘Money’ the B-side track from Lisa’s solo album ‘Lalisa’ has now become the longest-charting song on Billboards Hot 100 by a female K-pop artist. The records for longest-charting female acts were usually held by Blackpink as a collective but with no new music from the group over the last few months, Lisa has taken it on herself to keep the group's record-breaking traditions alive.

‘Money’ tops charts

According to the latest chart released by US Billboard on November 9, ‘Money’ from Lisa ranked at number 93 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100. The week prior to this, Lisa had ranked at number 90 on the same chart making it her second consecutive week spent on an International Chart — this despite the fact that two months have passed since she released her album.

It is reported that following her solo debut, the ‘Lalisa’ singer, Lisa's popularity index has become even more prominent as she also appears on other Billboard main charts, Global 200 and Global (Excl. US). Her title track ‘Lalisa’ as well as her B-side single, ‘Money’ have both made their presence felt on both these charts for six cumulative weeks making Lisa the longest-charting K-pop soloist on two out of three main charts from Billboard.

Not only in terms of Billboards charts, but Lisa has also been charting on local South Korean charts over the last few months that has led her to be nominated for various awards including the Melon Music Award and Mnet's Asian Music Awards for the year 2021.
