The 'Below Deck' franchise is Bravo's gift to lovers of unscripted content. Pick any episode and you'll find enough drama to discuss on a Reddit thread. As curtains fall on 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Season 2, prepare yourselves for a heady dose of spectacle as new yachties join 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 6.

As expected, Captain Sandy Yawn and bosun Malia White will be resuming their roles. But the crew will see a massive shake-up, which we'll learn about in a bit.

Air time

'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 6 premieres on Bravo on June 28, Monday at 9/8c. For more information, check your local listings.

How to watch it live

Season 5 episodes can be watched here. Stay tuned for updates on the current season.

Plot

The plot is simple - a bunch of yachties will serve charter guests. On the surface, it sounds simple but it's nearly impossible to go a season without clashes and unceremonious exits. Last season, Yawn fired Chef Hindrigo 'Kiko' Lorran over fried food and Hannah Ferrier for carrying prescription drugs without anyone's knowledge. This year, we are hoping there'll be newer challenges because what's the fun if everything works smoothly?

For Season 6, the crew will be aboard the 180-feet mega yacht Lady Michelle as they head to Sibenik, Croatia. "In a shocking franchise first, a serious crisis occurs before the opening charter, leaving the staff to worry if the season will be over before it even begins," the press release read and it added: "While unprecedented permutations in the crew structure disrupt the dynamic of the boat, one department head’s new management style causes friction that spans to the entire crew." Additionally, the crew will bring up roommate and health issues, which are sure to throw the team off balance. In keeping with the 'Below Deck' tradition, late-night shenanigans and surprising hook-ups are also in store.

Cast

Yawn and White will do their best to keep the team together but will that be enough given everyone is new to the setting? Here's hoping newbies Katie Flood (chief stew), Mathew Shea (chef), Lexi Wilson (stew), Courtney Veale (stew), David Pascoe (deckhand), Lloyd Spencer (deckhand), and Mzi 'Zee' Dempers (deckhand) are able to strike a balance and make their team leads' jobs easier.
