'Bachelorette' star Kaitlyn Bristowe sashays her way into 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 29
Congratulations are in order for Kaitlyn Bristowe who just got cast on the upcoming season of 'Dancing With The Stars'. The reality star first appeared on Season 19 of 'The Bachelor' and was later cast as the lead on Season 11 of the hit show's spinoff, 'The Bachelorette'. Her season is one of the most loved ones from the franchise and when a recap was announced to be a part of the special 'The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons Ever', Bristowe's fans went into a tizzy.
She dropped in during the final moments of the episode that aired on Monday night and joked with host Chris Harrison about how displeased she was that ABC chose to recap her season. She quickly added that it was indeed fun to relive her season. Speaking about that awkward Nick Viall rejection, she said that she has no regrets. Viall and she knew each other even before the former appeared as a suitor on her season because of their connection with the Bachelor Nation. Viall was Andi Dorfman's suitor on Season 10 of 'Bachelorette' and he bonded with Bristowe over all things 'Bachelor' over text messages. Shedding more light on their relationship, Bristowe said she was glad that Viall was on her season, otherwise she would have definitely thought about him.
Speaking about how she decided to pick Shawn Booth instead of Viall on the season, she said, "I took all the relationships to the necessary points to understand how I feel about them." Bristowe and Viall had sex in the closet on her season even before the fantasy room, and that had upset Booth. Reflecting on it, Bristowe said that her intimate moment with Viall felt wrong and that helped her understand that her feelings for Booth were much stronger. Booth and she were together for 3.5 years after the season but they eventually broke up as they "couldn't get past certain things".
She is now dating 'Bachelorette' alum Jason Tartick from Becca Kufrin's season. Both of them met on Bristowe's podcast and the latter mentioned that her fans immediately started talking about how well-suited they were for each other. Giving Bristowe company on the Monday night episode was Tartick, who revealed that he was crushing on Bristowe right after appearing on her podcast and admitted to have jokingly told his friend "just met my future wife". Harrison asked him if he had seen Bristowe's season, to which he was quick to answer in the negative. Bristowe quickly chimed in saying this was the reason that they were happy together.
In the final moments of the episode, Bristowe was pleasantly surprised when Harrison asked if she would like to participate in Season 29 of 'Dancing With The Stars'. Responding with a resounding yes, Bristowe compared the moment to when Harrison had asked her if she'd like to be the lead on 'Bachelorette'.
