SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA: While ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Season 8 stars Brandon Jones and Serene Russell may not have tied the knot on the beach in Mexico, there’s some joyous news for all the “Brandene shippers.” The couple has apparently taken the next step in their relationship and has moved in! During the show, the couple had an instant spark and clicked right away, leading to the most stable romance on the show.

But even after such an unwavering romance and an equally gorgeous engagement, Brandon and Serene had chosen not to get married on the beach. But the couple has now declared that they have moved in together and planning a wedding set for 2024. As is the case for most couples, the new move marks a very special milestone for the couple. The duo is reportedly cohabiting in a home in San Diego. Brandon has moved to the city from his base in Texas, while Serene has relocated from Oklahoma.

According to PEOPLE, “We jumped at the chance for that,” Serene said of the couple moving in. She added, “We’re like, no one is deciding how much time we spend together anymore. Not after split week.” She also stated the pair’s nuptial planning: "We are really excited for wedding planning.” The reality star continued, “We’ve landed on 2024, and we’re starting to think what time of year we want to get married in, what kind of wedding we like, do we want it more in the day or at night? We’re starting to have these fun little conversations.” She continues to say, “But right now, we’re really excited to get to do the holidays together, and be in public and be normal.”

But while the wedding still has over a year to go, at the moment, the pair is excited to visit Serene’s hometown of Oklahoma for Thanksgiving. Brandon has been spending time with his fiancee’s family and even posted a sweet photo with his “step-brother-in-law.” “She’s going to show me her city, meet some of her friends, stuff like that,” the reality star had told PEOPLE about the visit. He continued, “And I think Christmas time, we’re going to have our families come together and then just spend Christmas together here,” referring to their new abode in San Diego.

Discussing why the couple has delayed the wedding, Serene said, “We haven’t gotten to walk down the street together yet.” While adding, “We still want to go on a date, to go hang out with our friends from Paradise that we both share. It’s like, I want to show you what I like to get in the grocery store. There are just so many little things we haven’t gotten to do together yet.”
