'Bachelor' fans say Zach is 'following Clayton playbook' as he avoids dropping L-bombs in hometown dates
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Has Zach Shallcross taken pages from Clayton Echard's season of 'The Bachelor'? After the current lead avoided dropping the L-bomb to his Top 4 before fantasy suites, fans think he is avoiding the mess from the past season
Three different contestants told Zach they were falling for him during the same discussion during Hometowns Week. With four women still in the running to be Mrs Shallcross, Zach crossed several state lines to meet their families in the coming weeks before proposing to them. When the expected Fantasy Suite meltdown occurs the following time, one of the women will undoubtedly depart in a pool of tears, and we will then announce the winner. 'Bachelor' fans believe Zach has done everything possible to steer clear of the errors Clayton made during his season up until this point.

Zach doesn't reply to any of the contestant's love confessions
Even though Ariel Frenkel admits to falling in love with Zach, fans believe their relationship won't last for very long. After Zach meets her family, Charity Lawson tells him she has "one more surprise" for him and takes him to a local pub where a country singer is singing. Following their embrace outside, Charity confesses to him that she's pining for him. Zach explains, "You don't know how good that feels."
Zach is also informed by Kaity Biggar that she is falling for him. Three of the women have now admitted to falling in love with Zach, but he hasn't reciprocated.
'Just quit while you're ahead Zach'
Seeing Zach avoid saying that he loves any of the women during their hometown dates, made a fan quip, "Looks like Zach followed the Clayton playbook when it comes to fantasy suites." While others felt, "I'd rather nobody use the L word on this show after what Clayton did on his season lol." One fan also joked, "Clayton watching zach not throw around the word “love." A fourth viewer wrote, "this radio silence from zach after every girl tells him she loves him is major weird vibes."

One fan observed, "Haha! I think he doesn’t want to have a Clay moment, because Clay told the last three women that he will loved them and it came back to haunt him in the end." Another confused fan wrote, "So Zach has said to ALL 4 families “I can see a future with her” And he isn’t falling in love with anyone either?? He keeps telling each girl “I like you so much” Make it make sense." One angry fan thrashed him saying, "Just quit while you're ahead Zach... "I can't give you the love you deserve" ??" Calling his answers 'dry' a fan wrote, "At this point Zach can 100% see himself falling in love with me. This is how dry his answers are."
