Why does Zach Shallcross 'regret' his decisions?

The choice of Zach as the main character of the Season 27 of 'The Bachelor' caused controversy from the beginning, as it was feared that he would not be able to maintain the interest of viewers. Nonetheless, in the premiere of the show, Zach was praised for his level-headedness and quick rejection of dramatic contestants, focusing on finding a true best friend and partner for life.

However, in recent episodes, Zach Shallcross has been harshly criticized by Bachelor Nation for his behavior, particularly in regards to Greer Blitzer, Jess Girod, and Kat Izzo. Fans were angered by what they perceived as a lack of sensitivity and compassion, leading to doubts about Zach's decision-making abilities.

In a post shared by former Bachelor Nick Viall, fans of the show were quick to respond. One Twitter user commented, "This man should not get married until he realizes relationships are not perfect and without issues." while another questioned the validity of his upcoming marriage. They said, "I didn't want him to be the Bachelor in the first place. Whoever gets to the end needs to be prepared for it not to last." Another notable criticism was, "He's one big, walking red flag and I feel sorry for whatever woman marries him."

Zach was also condemned for his sharp rebuke of Greer during a Zoom conversation in which she tried to empathize with his Covid-19 experience. Greer likened Zach's temporary break on his Bachelor trip to missing the end of a sales quarter at her job, which didn't sit well with Zach and led to a tense exchange between the two. Later, Jess confronted Zach about not getting a one-on-one date, which led to an argument that eventually resulted in Jess' immediate exit. Also, Kat's confession that she occasionally doubted introducing Zach to her family spelled the end of their time together, as Zach said goodbye to her at the rose ceremony.

In light of these regrettable decisions, Zach said candidly in a recent podcast, "I failed myself, I failed that person, and it's not necessarily who I am."

Will Charity Lawson be next Bachelorette?

Luckily for Charity, she reportedly gets a chance to find love on her own terms. According to Reality Steve, Charity will be the next leading lady of 'The Bachelorette." Fans are eagerly waiting for an official announcement in one of the two weeks of the hometowns.
