The K-pop group announces special online concert after 'Eternal Sunshine' promotions end

The ‘Fever Part 3’ era might be over, but Ateez is not going anywhere anytime soon. A day after the promotions for their second title track ‘Eternal Sunshine’ ended, the K-pop group announced a special online concert. Ahead of their third debut anniversary on October 24, the boy group released a mysterious poster. And on October 19, their label KQ shared that the boys will be having a special online concert titled ‘Ateez XR Show [Fever: eXtended edition]’.

Ateez has been busy with their latest album ‘Zero: Fever Part 3’. They brought back their title track voting tradition with the songs ‘Deja Vu’ and ‘Eternal Sunshine’. After a successful promotional period for ‘Deja Vu’, the boys came back this month with the release of the ‘Eternal Sunshine’ music video. A stark difference from the dark and moody ‘Deja Vu’, ‘Eternal Sunshine’ was fun and cheery with a bright concept and vibrant outfits that the group brought for the music show performances.

Ateez announces special online concert

On October 17, Ateez finished promotions for ‘Eternal Sunshine’. Well, it looks like that they’re now preparing for their special online concert. The ‘Ateez XR Show [Fever: eXtended edition]’ will be held on November 14 at 3 pm KST (2 am ET) to celebrate their Fanclub’s third anniversary. The Fanclub Atiny was created on November 17, 2018. The concert will use XR technology that incorporates live stages and pre-recorded VCR clips. The live streaming platform and tickets for it will be announced later.

The concert will be a chance for Ateez to expand their universe and explain the importance of the Chromer (hourglass) that we have been seeing in their music videos since their debut days to their latest performances in the survival show ‘Kingdom’. We might also get an explanation for the tree that we have been seeing in their concept photos and music videos since the beginning of the ‘Fireworks’ era.

‘Just take my money’

Fans are excited about the concert as they made tweets like, “So what, we have an online concert???? Or a world tour????? Tell me!!! My money is ready.” Atinys also asked “important questions” like, “Is this free besties?” Another fan joked, “Just take my money.” One shared, “How about eXtend my bank account instead.” Another made a reaction meme, “Dear kq, sincerely, atinys.” One fan tried to make a theory as to what to expect from the concert, “A DESERT AND THE SAME TREE FROM FEVER PART 2 OK + HOURGLASS TIME PASSING BY OKOK XR SHOW MMHMMM EITHER STORYLINE RELATED OR MV SET XR SHOW.” Meanwhile, another said, “That tree will also never leave us alone will it.”
