Is Ateez's Seonghwa on Stan Twitter? Atinys panic after K-pop idol’s latest post
Are our favorite idols lurking among us? While artists and their labels use Twitter for updates and promotional purposes, Stan Twitter is the fun side of social media where fandoms hype up their favorite idols, make memes and essentially embody their uncensored selves. Navigating inside jokes or stan lingo is difficult unless you’re a fan... or if you happen to be the idol fans are talking about. While most K-pop artists don’t want to venture anywhere near Stan Twitter, some do through anonymous accounts. And the latest suspect just might be Ateez’s Seonghwa.
Some idols openly engage with Stan Twitter as evident from everyone’s favorite meme user GOT7’s Bambam. From making memes of his GOT7 members to sharing fans’ posts, Bambam is definitely on Stan Twitter. Certain idols also recognize fans at fan meetings through their Twitter accounts. Well, some Atinys (Ateez’s fandom) wondered if Ateez was on Twitter too from the occasional memes shared by the members on their Fancafe (K-pop messaging forums). But Atinys are in a frenzy after Seonghwa reshared a post from Stan Twitter.

Seonghwa shares a fan's Twitter post
During Seonghwa’s recent V Live, fans noticed his Ateez merch as he had displayed all of his group's albums in a neat fashion. Fans found it adorable and asked him to upload a picture of his shelf on Fancafe — a request he complied with. However, the photo was blurry. Someone on Stan Twitter jokingly shared a tutorial on how Seonghwa could upload high-quality photos. He took the tutorial that user @transforatz had tweeted and uploaded it on Fancafe captioning it as thanks.
dear seonghwa, i know you lurk around here so here's a tutorial on how to upload non low quality pictures on fancafe! https://t.co/ql7BgaLSVk pic.twitter.com/HptTobk8ld

Atinys are pleasantly surprised that he saw the Twitter user’s post and then went on to reshare it. Fans think that this means that he has a Stan Twitter account that he uses and was probably following user @transforatz. This has led to Atinys making hilarious reaction memes on Twitter. One fan posted, “Whenever it becomes obvious seonghwa or hongjoong see things on twitter i want to just hide my account.” Some Atinys wondered if they could find his account, “Now how do i find seonghwa among 41.6k followers.”

One fan also brought back the time San hinted that he was following them on Twitter, “First san is oomf and now seonghwa saved a tutorial from twt sjdjsj.” Another Atiny joked, “What if seonghwa told us to stop fighting with other fandoms and we ratio him for being a hakuna matata tiny....” “At first we were like mmmm .... seonghwa oomf lurking on twitter as a joke. but BRO i don't think its a joke anymore,” said one fan. Another tweeted, “The whole atinyville rn: Seonghwa is among us.”
