After watching the series, fans could not stop gushing over it. They lauded the producers for managing to depict the 80s exactly the way it was. The audience ended up loving every bit of it despite a lot of explicit content. Fans took to social media to express their views on the series. A user wrote on Twitter, "I’ve weirdly been thinking about her on & off all month. & I finally decided to google her/look up what she’s been up to lately. & BAM! I see this! What the actual f**k..? I’m a little creeped out but beyond excited to watch this! I’ve ALWAYS been fascinated by #Angelyne 4 YEARS!"

Another one added, "#Angelyne is being dogged by critics but honestly? I’m enjoying it The woman is an enigma and an unreliable narrator. I don’t know what they were expecting. We literally just found out about her origins 3 years ago."

Angylene's sense of style and fashion was also praised by fans. She was a woman of sophistication and got her way through anything. For someone who loved to have control over everything, she was still like a child from within. This attracted a lot of people and the viewers fell in love with her in the series. So much so that they started posting pictures of their pets dressed like her. "Watching the #Angelyne series and thinking about when my cat decided to dress up as her for Halloween," a user tweeted.

There are some interesting things that people had to say about Angylene. One tweeted, "I used to see #Angelyne at some of the hot restaurants near West Hollywood back in the 20th century, her pink Corvette at the curb waiting to fly her away. She was always a living doll."

Another added, "Watching the new #Angelyne show and wowowoww it’s good. Turns out she was my Aunt in law’s childhood best friend before her family moved to the valley. This city is wild."
