A woman was reportedly arrested after walking into Jennifer Lawrence's house on Sunday night. Lawrence and husband Cooke Maroney supposedly restrained the alleged intruder at their Los Angeles-area home before either police or security arrived, claimed a Page Six report.

Reports on this break-in, however, are contradictory at this point. TMZ, for instance, reported that the couple’s security on hand nabbed the 23-year-old woman before she could make contact with the actor.

According to E! News, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that they responded to a trespassing call at 9.15 p.m. and arrested a 23-year-old woman. Law enforcement sources further said that the woman entered the front door, but security was able to stop her before she made any contact with the actress.

The source, however, let slip to E! News that “the girl didn't want to meet Jen”. Again, there's a contradiction. According to TMZ, sources said the woman told police she simply wanted to meet the actress.

According to TMZ, the woman has been arrested for misdemeanor trespass.

Lawrence, 29, tied the knot with art gallerist Maroney, 34 in October 2019. The couple wed in Rhode Island on the grounds of the Belcourt Mansion. The wedding was attended by stars, including Emma Stone, Nicole Richie, Joel Madden, Cameron Diaz, and Sienna Miller.

Post the wedding, the couple embarked upon their honeymoon trip at the exclusive Nihi Sumba Resort in Indonesia, a remote island destination is known for its luxurious villa accommodations

Lawrence has two big projects in 2020. One is an untitled A24 drama about a soldier coming home after enduring a traumatic brain injury. The second is a new Netflix film from director Adam McKay. Called ‘Don't Look Up’, the film, according to Vanity Fair, is about two low-level astronomers who embark on a massive media tour to warn the Earth's population about an asteroid that threatens to destroy all life on the planet. It is slated to be a dark comedy.
