Nebraska's Jocelyn floors 'American Song Contest' fans with original song: 'What a talent!'

Nebraska's representative was complimented on her beautiful song that even brought some fans to tears elevating her to one of the favorites

NBC returns with a brand new episode of the reality singing competition 'American Song Contest' and the competition is getting fiercer and more creative with each passing episode as contestants do their best for their home states.

So far there have been three semifinalists confirmed who hail from Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Oklahoma. The second episode is important for the singers' journey on the show, so read on to know how Nebraska's Jocelyn did and what fans thought of it.

Nebraska's Jocelyn sang an original song called 'Never Alone'. Explaining the meaning behind the song that gives out the message of positivity she shared that she had a rough childhood with a single mom, later got into bad company and more. She said that music gave her purpose and her claim to fame. A performance of her busking went viral and got her where she is today, so she showed gratitude to the people and her state. Her song 'Never Alone' featured lyrics like 'Lonely is never alone, you're never alone' and had a very comforting vibe that fans loved.

Hosts Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson too praised the heartfelt song and called it great. Commenting on her lyrics and the meaning behind her song, here's what viewers said.
