BUELL, PENNSYLVANIA: The newest crime series on Prime Video, American Rust: Broken Justice,' delves into the complex web of crime, where each character pursues their own agenda.

The show is the second season of 'American Rust,' which debuted on September 12, 2021, on Showtime.

However, despite its cancellation, leaving the show's future uncertain, Prime Video stepped in and revived the crime series for its streaming platform.

The show's first season may have had a slow pace, but it boasted a compelling plot with a murder mystery at its core.

The season followed the friendship between Isaac English (David Alvarez) and Billy Poe (Alex Neustaedter), both of whom were implicated in the murder of a police officer.

Initially, it was believed that Billy was the murderer. However, in a shocking turn of events, it was revealed that Isaac was the true culprit, while Billy merely acting as his cover-up

In the first season, it was also revealed that Isaac was gay, and it took him some time to fully embrace and feel comfortable in his identity.

In the season season, Isaac is at ease with his sexuality and is also in a covert relationship with Russell Wolfe (Christopher Denham).

Nevertheless, in the fifth episode, Isaac is left devastated by a deep-seated secret about Russell.

The bond between Russell and Isaac grows stronger with each passing day.

Both appeared genuinely in love, with Russell making light-hearted jokes about taking their relationship to the next level by revealing that he is gluten-free.

Isaac further impressed Russell by showcasing his extensive understanding of the environment by suggesting that other power plants should purchase water from Landwill Energy.

Isaac also mentioned his initial interest in environmental engineering but later grew out of it.

Pleased by Isaac's knowledge, Russell encouraged him to pursue his aspirations while pledging his support. However, Isaac disregarded him and began making out with him.

Isaac, deeply in love with Russell, feels as though he's in seventh heaven as he is seen in the kitchen in a happy mood, just like a teenager who has fallen in love.

In the kitchen, he was seen humming a romantic tune while baking a gluten-free chocolate cake for Russell to demonstrate to him that he is more than simply a sexual partner.

However, his world comes crashing down when he returns to the hotel room where he had spent the previous night with Russell, intending to surprise him with the cake.

But to his shock, when the door opens, a woman stands there, informing him that they didn't order anything. Isaac is shocked when he sees Russell, who has likewise not intervened in their conversation.

Isaac's eyes immediately catch sight of the wedding ring, suggesting she is Russell's better half.

Understanding the situation, Isaac leaves the premises, heartbroken, without saying much. 

'American Rust: Broken Justice' is now streaming on Amazon Prime.
