LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jayna Elise's song choice on 'American Idol' Season 22 didn't resonate well with fans and critics, who criticized her for what they perceived as a poor selection. They argued that for the crucial votes round, it would have been wiser to stick with timeless classics, yet Jayna opted for Demi Lovato song 'Confident' instead. This decision was met with skepticism, as many felt that contemporary songs might not showcase her vocal abilities as effectively as older, more universally beloved tunes.

Many fans deemed Jayna's decision to choose a Demi Lovato song rather idiotic, expressing their disappointment and frustration. Additionally, some fans felt that Jayna wasn't hitting the notes as effectively as she could have, further fueling criticism and doubt about her song selection.

"Sorry but Jayna is just not hitting it for me :/," tweeted a user. "Why does this sound so flat/pitchy and whiny ):," it added. "jayna you idiot.. old songs are what gets votes," said one. '

For her last solo performance on 'American Idol' Season 21, Jayna chose to serenade the audience with "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" by Celine Dion, showcasing her powerful vocals and emotional depth.

During the final Judgment, the judges sounded dejected as they announced that Jayna didn't have enough of what it takes to proceed further. During her time on the show, Jayna showcased her versatility by being part of a trio called "The Trio," alongside Adin Boyer and Summer Joy. Originally a duet, Adin joined to balance out the group's odd number of contestants. Together, they delivered a memorable rendition of "I'm Still Standing" by Elton John, captivating both judges and audiences with their harmonies.
