LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After Jordan Anthony performed a cover of Sia's song 'Titanium' on 'American Idol' Season 22, fans of the show were quick to express disappointment and criticism. Many fans felt that Jordan failed to do justice to the song, with some describing his rendition as boring and lacking the energy and emotion needed to capture the essence of the original.

Sia's fans, in particular, were vocal in their disappointment, expressing their love for the original version and their belief that Jordan's rendition fell short of expectations. Despite Jordan's talent, some viewers felt that his performance didn't live up to the powerful and dynamic nature of 'Titanium,' leaving them underwhelmed and longing for more. 

"Jordan was rough. I love that song, he did it no justice," a fan wrote. Other accused the judges of being nice to him and that they were doing 'favours' on the singer. "The judges need to be honest. Not doing him any favors," said another. Another user took a jibe at the judges after Jordan's performance. "when will idol judges actually judge.. they like everyone .. never disagree with each other.. such waterdown judging since simon days #jordan #americanidol."





 

Others thought the singer was simply boring. "both first two are so boring ... jordan please go tonight," said a user. "Idk Jordan wasn’t that impressive," added one. "jordan tad boring for my taste," added another.

Jordan Anthony reveals being 'bullied' at school 

Anthony opened up about his school experience, sharing to 6PR afternoons that he faced bullying. It was during this challenging time that Anthony's passion for songwriting began to blossom, serving as a creative outlet to express himself and cope with adversity. On the other hand, Anthony discovered his love for songwriting at a remarkably young age, penning his first song when he was just 7 years old.

"School wasn't a fun place for me, I got bullied quite a lot. When I was about 7-years-old I wrote my first song about getting bullied," he said. This early introduction to songwriting laid the foundation for Anthony's musical journey, igniting a lifelong passion for creating music and storytelling through song.
