The fans of ‘American Idol’ might have got furious over the late broadcast of ‘American Idol’ Season 20’s fifth episode due to Oscars 2022 but that did not stop them to enjoy the final audition episode before the Hollywood week. A bunch of new singers were spotted in the latest where one of them was Maryland native Katyrah Love. The 23-year-old crooner sang her rendition of ‘River’ by Bishop Briggs whilst also playing the box.

The skilled crooner easily managed to impress the judges but not before getting a few helpful suggestions. Speaking to Katyrah Love right after she finished her set, Lionel Richie said, “Presentation, it’s all about the presentation. My God, it was so great. Luke Bryan then chimed in and stated, “Performance! The box is cute and all, but you don’t need the box.” Katy Perry, who seemed content with Katyrah’s audition, said, “If you can hold out some of those notes, I think it’ll be really helpful,” adding that she got a vibe. The trio then made her day after handing her the coveted golden ticket.
