Pop sensation Katy Perry will soon be seen again as the judge of singing reality show ‘American Idol’ alongside Luke Bryan and Lionel Richi. Ryan Seacrest will also be returning as the host for the upcoming season. He has been hosting the reality show since its premiere on FOX back in 2002.

The latest installment is coming back soon for a fourth season on ABC. It will officially begin on Sunday, February 14, 2021, at 8 pm ET. The first few episodes will broadcast the tryout process for Season 19.

Coming back to Katy Perry, the multiple award-winning crooner received a positive response in the last season and fans will once again be looking forward to seeing the singer taking over the responsibilities as a judge.

According to the same website, the wife of actor Orlando Bloom pocketed between $30 and $50 million from album sales, merchandise, touring and endorsements between 2009 and 2014. Between June 2014 and June 2015, Perry raked-in an estimated $135 million whereas, between June 2018 and June 2019, she earned $60 million. Between June 2019 and June 2020, the singer laughed happily to the bank with $40 million, of which $25 million came from hosting ‘American Idol.’

Apart from her music career, Katy Perry has earned an impressive amount of moolah from several guest appearances on shows such as ‘Saturday Night Live’, ‘The Simpsons’, ‘How I Met Your Mother’ and ‘Raising Hope’. She also debuted with her Hollywood career in 2011 when she starred as Smurfette in the animated family film ‘The Smurfs’.

She reprised her role in ‘The Smurfs 2’ in 2013. If we speak about Perry’s earnings from ‘American Idol,’ in March 2018, the versatile crooner $15 million for her first season. In 2019, she got $25 million for the same. As for her business ventures, she introduced a few fragrances such as Purr (2010) and Meow! Katy Perry’s love for real estate

Katy Perry loves shelling out on luxurious properties. She welcomed her daughter Daisy Dove Bloom with actor husband Orlando Bloom and they made sure their current home located in Beverly Hills is well-equipped for the new-born. According to multiple reports, Perry and Bloom's home is sprawled across 5427sq. ft. and is said to have  Nicole Kidman, Ashton Kutcher, Cameron Diaz and Nicole Richie as neighbors. In 2017, Perry had shelled-out $19 million to acquire this mansion in Beverly Hills.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, she spent $7.5 million for another Beverly Hills home in the year 2018 but she decided to list the property in 2020 for $8 million.

In 2019, the singer sold two side-by-side homes in LA’s Runyon Canyon area for a total of $12.3 million and if we talk about 2020, it is reported that Perry and Orlando paid $14.2 million for a roughly nine-acre estate in Montecito, California.
