Willie Spence
Willie Spence covered Adele's 'Set Fire to the Rain' for his Top 16 performance and once again the judges fell short of words after the whole experience that he created with his voice. Willie has remained consistent with making the judges cry with his storyteller voice and the audiences as well and it won't be a surprise if he ends up as the winner this season.
Grace Kinstler
Another powerhouse vocalist who commands the stage completely with her voice with or without a band! Grace has been praised for having a laser-sharp voice and her ability to belt big notes as well as her powerful lower register. She too has been inching her way to the top and there wouldn't be any surprises if she takes the winning title away.
Kacey Bishop
Kacey Bishop is 16 years old but she's singing way beyond her years and like Luke Bryan mentioned last week, she's "bringing rock back. She covered Soundgarden's 'Black Hole Sun' and audiences were pleasantly surprised as she rocked out the stage with this '90s hit. Bryan had also mentioned she could be the winner of the show and the determination in each of her performances reflects that she's ready for that recording deal.
Ava August
Ava August, 15, has already been compared to Judy Garland on the show as she keeps delivering thoughtful performances week after week. For her Top 16 performance, she decided to cover '2002' by Anne Marie and even though it didn't show off her range that much, she does have what it takes to become the winner of 'American Idol'.
Alyssa Wray
Like Willie Spence, Alyssa too has a big voice which she uses to create drama during her performances. In the past, Katy Perry has asked her to tone down on the "vocal gymnastics" and she did exactly that with her performance in the Top 16 showing everyone her power as a vocalist.
The other singers who completed the Top 12 lineup include DeShawn Goncalves, Cassandra Coleman, Hunter Metts, Caleb Kennedy and Chayce Beckham.
Who did the judges save and send to the Top 12?
Madison Watkins and Beane were unanimously picked by both Lionel Richie and Katy Perry as well as the guest judge Paula Abdul. The singers who were eliminated at the end of the episode include Alanis Sophia, Graham DeFranco and Colin Jamieson.
