Who is Fire Wilmore?

Danie Marie Wilmore aka Fire is a 23-year-old Lawton, Oklahoma native. She describes herself as an artist on Instagram and lists herself as a pop, soul, and RnB singer. Fire also has a 4-year-old daughter. She was just 18 years old when she found out that she was pregnant. The teen mom raises her daughter as a single parent. Fire loves her daughter to the moon and back. She even dedicated Devi Lovato's 'Made for Me to Love' to Maja. Fire currently lives in Hampton, Virginia, according to her Facebook profile.

As of now, Fire works as a retail sales consultant at Nike. She was a former E-2 in the US Army. The star uploaded a throwback army picture on Instagram saying, "Throwback to being army strong." In the post, Fire is seen performing activities at the Army camp.

Fire, who went to Junction City Sr High school, announced last month on her social media that she has gotten into her dream school, The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. On March 7, 2023, Fire informed her fans that she has moved from America to England with her daughter.

Fire's social media posts don't offer any clue as to whether she is dating anyone. While a November 2022 post shows her posing with a man, smiling and kissing each other for the camera, Fire's Facebook claims she is single.

Fire uploaded a video on her social media last month, wearing a multi-colored jacket and a black top. She turned the camera towards people clapping and singing. Fire captioned the clip, "Woot woot It’s a party on American Idol!!!" Fans congratulated her under the video. The current speculation suggests she got the golden ticket and moved ahead in the show.

Fire will be seen singing 'Mercy' by Duffy in the audition round. It is yet to be seen whether the star will make her way to Hollywood or not. Stay tuned to ABC to watch Fire's audition round.

'American Idol' Season 21 airs every Sunday at 8 pm ET on ABC.
