Netflix Korea is on a roll as they have been putting out hit original dramas one after another. After the immense success of ‘Squid Game’, they barely let us breathe before releasing ‘Hellbound’ and the zombie high-school flick ‘All Of Us Are Dead’ back to back. ‘All Of Us Are Dead’ was much loved by fans all over the world as it dominated 91 countries hours after its premiere and now just as we are getting ready for the Korean version of ‘Money Heist’, Netflix has announced more projects. The cast of ‘All Of Us Are Dead’ have confirmed that they are returning for a second season.

All Of Us Are Dead’ follows students of a high school that is ground zero for a zombie virus except some of the infected only turn part zombie. While we lost some of our favorite students in the first season itself, one of the main leads, Cheong-san, had an open ending. And as soon as season 1 ended, director Lee Jae-gyu had already shared that he had a plan for season 2 and Cheong-san too.

‘All Of Us Are Dead’ Season 2 confirmed

Well, on June 6, Netflix dropped an announcement in the format of a home video, that had played a pivotal role in the first season of ‘All Of Us Are Dead’. We see some of the old cast return in new uniforms as they thanked viewers for the support. They then shared that season 2 was confirmed, while Cho Yi-hyun, who plays Nam-ra in the series, was the only one wearing casuals instead of a school uniform, giving away the spoiler that her character was not alone as she ended the video by going to meet her “friends.” In the video, we also see Lomon’s Su-hyeok, Park Ji-hoo’s On-jo, and Yoon Chan-young’s Cheong-san.

Fans are excited for Cheong-san’s return as they believe the actor would have not been included in the greeting video if he was not present in season 2. Season 1 ends with Cheong-san falling down an elevator shaft with half-zombie Gwi-nam who bit him. While the army bombed the school, fans think Gwi-nam's body either shielded Cheong-san from the blast or that the bite made him immortal.

‘Cheongsan is def alive’

Many fans took to Twitter to express their views on the new development. One user said, “I wonder what will happen in the season 2 of all of us are dead. are there still zombies? are they going to find an antidote? is cheongsan alive? or are they all going to die?”

One posted, “I find it funny how we all collectively assume that cheongsan is alive.” Another fan added, “Cheongsan is def alive or else WHY WOULD HE BE IN THAT S2 GREETINGS VIDEO. THEREFORE, I WIN.”

One joked, “Cheongsan beating the fried chicken allegations.” Another wondered about Yi-hyun’s spoiler, “They're Back!!!! Immune and human duo is back. Cheongsan is alive 😭 is he the friend whose waiting for namra? 🤔 How the human react to see the hambies? I can't wait for real.”

One fan was excited for half zombies Gwi-nam and Eunji, “BATTLE OF THE IMMORTALS #AllOfUsAreDeadS2 Who will win? Gwinam Eunji.”
