LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'America's Got Talent' began its 19th season on May 28 with a range of acts from the United States and across the world, with the performers auditioning for judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Sofia Vergara, hoping that the two minutes they had in front of them would alter their lives. However, when pro plunger Chris Ivan attempted to shatter a world record, fans were forced to draw the line.

Chris needed to strike more than 17 people with plungers in one minute to beat his world record. He utterly fails, hitting only two people.

On YouTube, people commented, "It’s frustrating how most attempts to break world records fail on AGT."  Another user chimed in, "Why did they waste airtime showing this? Ridiculous and embarrassing."

On X, fans prayed, "Hope AGT gets better." One user asked, "So the Guinness world records are full of stupid s--t like this?"

Some users also felt, "Auditions can really be a waste of time sometimes," while others sighed, "That’s not a talent."

Chris Ivan buzzed by four 'AGT' Season 19 judges

Chris, 28, traveled from Portland to pursue "something completely unconventional" in pursuit of his goal to entertain. He gathered 17 "close friends and family" to help him break his own world record of "most human targets hit with plungers in one minute."

After 15 seconds, Chris had just one plunger trapped on his back, so Howie and Heidi both pressed their red X buzzers. Simon and Sofia soon hit theirs as well, with Sofia screaming, "You are super bad at this," and Simon said, "It wasn't even close."

Needless to say, Chris received four "no" votes.

David Rush attempted to make a new world record for fist bumping in 'AGT' Season 18

David Rush's audition for 'AGT' Season 18 consisted of successfully setting a world record by performing the most fist bumps with Howie. Heidi, Sofia, and Simon applauded the behavior.
