Season 17 of 'America's Got Talent' is removing all the stops when it comes to bringing the best talent to the silver screen. After the gruelling auditions, it is now time for the live shows, where a lot is on the line, seeing that only two acts will move ahead each week. With 11 acts performing each week, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and Howie Mandel have the ardent task of picking which act, other than the audience favourite should advance forward.

The first act taking to the stage was acrobat and dance act Amoukanama and while 'AGT' has seen acrobat acts before, they certainly brought the heat! Before taking to the stage, Amoukanama explained just why being on the show was important to them. They stated that life is difficult to live in West Africa, and there is not much opportunity for an act like theirs. The group's dream is to build a school so that they can help kids achieve better success. Coming to the 'AGT' stage, they were ready to push their own limits and make their dreams come true, seeing that it was a once-in-a-lifetime chance.

Amoukanama certainly hit it out of the ballpark, performing some intense jumps, flips and more, all while maintaining coordination and their formations. They even received a standing ovation from the judges. Howie Mandell explained that he missed their audition but was absolutely blown away by their performance. Even Simon Cowell noted that while judges tend to score acts, Amoukanama proved that they were a 10. Fans agreed with the judges. "Amoukanama really delivered a fiery opening to the Season 17 live shows. I definitely feel like this belongs in Vegas. #AGT" said a fan. "I’d pay money to see this dance group. That’s how I choose my votes. #AGT @AGT" added another. "Amoukanama is awesome! #AGT" tweeted a fan. "These guys are amazing---flipping this way and that from all over--WOW #AGT" wrote a fan.
