'AGT' Season 17: Fans praise Amoukanama's high-energy performance, call African dance group 'insane'

Amoukanama wasted no time in impressing the judges and the audience with their phenomenal acrobatic act

When it comes to the 'America's Got Talent' stage, each act might not be unique, but one thing is for certain, each performance has the potential to be. After all, artists do add their own flair and showmanship to their routines that set them apart. As the auditions continued, fans were introduced to Amoukanama, a group from West Africa. They explained that living life in West Africa is not easy, but coming to America meant that they could give their families back home a better life. Winning the show would be a big dream, but if they did, they wanted to build a school back home.

So far, there have been plenty of amazing acrobat acts, such as Duo Rings and Duo Forza who have advanced forward. Now, it was Amoukanama's time to shine!

As Amoukanama took to stage, they put together a stunning acrobat and dance act, that have everyone including the judges at the edge of their seats. As the performance drew to a close, Heidi Klum noted that the performance looked "crazy intense" and she loved it. Sofia Vergara too, mentioned that people would go crazy for an act like this. Simon Cowell mentioned that the finals were going to be hell, seeing that so many acts had put up such stellar performances. That being said, for him, Amoukanama had certainly made a mark. With three yeses, the group was thrilled as they advanced to the next round and fans online were just as excited. "Wow that dance crew fro m West Africa was amazing I loved it #AGT" tweeted a fan. "@amoukanama2 started off the show pulling out all the flips and twists! great job!! #AGT #AGTAuditions" added another. "Amoukanama is super-amazing! They’re really taking acrobatics to the next level. #AGT" said a fan. "This African dance group was INSANE! #AGT" noted another.
