'AGT' Season 17 Live Show: Fans label XOMG POP as 'worst performance of the night'

PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: As the 'America's Got Talent' live shows continue, each act is giving it their all. With only two available slots each week, every artist is vying for a spot in the finals. For now, all they can do is bring their a-game and hope that the audience loves them.

Before XOMG Pop could take to the stage, they said that they wanted to be the next big girl group. ll set to perform their second original number, the girls dreamed of becoming the first girl group or pop group to win the show.

While Simon Cowell noted that he wasn't a fan of the girl's music choice, he did praise the act outside it. Howie Mandel was not as forthcoming with his praise, noting that the act was not for him, but his grandaughter considered them the best act of the season. Heidi Klum compared them to a pinata exploding resulting in the Spice Girls. Sofia Vergara too, explained that their practice and effort showed, seeing that they were more in sync. While the judges kept it light, fans weren't as forgiving. 

"Easily the worst performance of the night. Yeesh. If @itsjojosiwa wasn’t involved, they never would’ve made it through. #AGT" tweeted a fan. "Don’t you dare put them in the same group as the Spice Girls. #AGT" said a fan. "#AGT Why is this XOMG garbage on @AGT?!? America better not put this act through!! I will stop watching the rest of this season if they get put through. Jojo Siwa can get these kids their own show on her own. Give a chance to REAL talented acts who aren't run by a "Celebrity"!!🤷" explained a fan. "XOmg Pop felt more like a middle school talent show than a Vegas act. Like the judges said, this act isn’t for me. #AGT" added another. "Someone get me the memory wiper. I want to forget xomgpop. #AGT" wrote a fan.

'America's Got Talent' airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm on NBC. followed by the results which will air on Wednesday nights between 8 pm to 9 pm ET/PT.
