Winter and Ningning join the star-studded tvN show, 'Our Blues' as they bag their first OST single for the show just like BTS' Jimin

Singing OSTs for popular K-dramas is a privilege and many new idols from the fourth-gen of K-pop are finally getting to enjoy as they join the list of OST lineups. From Stray Kids’ Seungmin to The Boyz’s New, many idols are now able to sing OSTs aside from being part of their respective K-pop groups which fans dearly enjoy.

aespa’s Ningning may be under a lot of scrutiny due to the ongoing Chinese idols in K-pop controversy but fans of aespa are now rejoicing as the singer finally gets her first OST alongside her bandmate, Winter. Both members of aespa, Ningning and Winter have been revealed as the newest K-pop idols to join the OST for the upcoming omnibus K-drama, ‘Our Blues’.

aespa’s Winter and Ningning bag their first OST

Winter and Ningning of aespa are now the second and third official K-pop idols are BTS’ Jimin who was revealed to be part of the OST lineup of the show. Just like BTS’ Jimin, both aespa and Ningning will make their OST debut with this upcoming project for the Kim Woo-bin, Shin Min-ah, and more starrer K-drama.

Now 10 days after Jimin was revealed to be a part of the OST lineup for the show on March 15, the broadcasting official of ‘Our Blues’ revealed on March 25 that Winter and Ningning of aespa will also join the star-studded show and take part in the OST for one of the episodes of the show.

The plot of tvN’s ‘Our Blues’

The series ‘Our Blues’ revolves around the sweet and bitter life of people standing at either the end or the beginning of their lives. The show will follow an omnibus format depicting the stories of each of the characters against the backdrop of Jeju Island. It has a star-studded cast of Lee Byung-hun, Cha Seung-won, Lee Jung-eun, Uhm Jung-hwa, Han Ji-min, and the much-loved couple, Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-ah.

‘Our Blues' is going to be special for fans of the couple as Kim Woo-bin will make his acting come back with the show for the first time after his five-year hiatus since the 2017 K-drama, ‘Uncontrollably Fond’. Shin Min-ah was last seen in the tvN K-drama, ‘Hometown Cha Cha Cha’ and will now appear on the same show as her long-time boyfriend for the first time. The show is slated to premiere on tvN on April 9, 2022, while it will also be streamed on Netflix in selected regions every Saturday and Sunday.
