'90 Day Fiance' Season 9: Fans wonder if Kobe will tell David about pregnancy, say it's 'disrespectful' to lie

Kobe noted that he had a great relationship with his future father in law, making it harder to lie to him

Emily and Kobe have not had an easy run on Season 9 of '90 Day Fiance'. There is certainly a lot of stress to being together, as the pair have a son, Koban. But apart from this, they both seem to be struggling on the financial front, which continues to put pressure on them and Emily's parents, who are currently supporting them.

And while Emily's father, David, pays the bills, his one condition so far has been that Emily should not get pregnant again. And fans know that Kobe and Emily broke that rule in a heartbeat - or 90 days, to be exact.

Before the wedding, David had a heart-to-heart conversation with Kobe, where he addressed the fact that Kobe had sent him a letter and asked for his permission to marry Emily. The pair shared an emotional moment as they shared a hug, with David noting that he cared for Kobe like a son. While they were both moved to tears, Kobe was clearly torn over the fact that he was hiding the pregnancy from David, seeing that he mentioned he greatly respected her father and didn't want to hide such a big thing from him.

Fans understood exactly where Kobe was coming from and was not sure what to make of the situation.  "-Uh oh, Kobe's having a breakdown. He really does not like lying and hiding the pregnancy. He's an honorable dude which makes me feel bad that he's marrying someone as conniving as Emily." tweeted a fan. "Man Kobe is so emotional about not only marrying Emily but he wants to tell David the truth after being trusted for giving his blessing this is gonna be painful to watch #90DayFiance" added another. "I really hope Emily’s family watched the season to see that she is actually the villain and Kobe didn’t deserve their bs. #90DayFiance" said a fan. "I really hope Emily’s dad isn’t mad at Kobe when he tells the truth. At least he respects the man enough to tell him, unlike his daughter. #90dayfiance" tweeted another. "I hope Kobe tells him. That’d be so disrespectful marrying his daughter and withholding that big secret. #90DayFiance" added a fan.
