'Your Playlist': Astro's Sanha and Dreamnote's Sumin join cast as main leads
All the members of the K-pop group Astro have, by now, established themselves as actors as well. With their visual Cha Eunwoo becoming one of the most-loved actors among the current generation of Korean male leads, other members of the group are not far behind. After appearing on the web drama ‘Love Formula 11M’, Sanha (Yoon Sanha) of Astro will now be seen in another lead role in a new 2021 web drama.
On September 16, Sanha’s agency, Fatagio Entertainment reported that Sanha has been cast in the new Hello Live drama, ‘Your Playlist’ where he will assume the role of the character, ‘Big Daddy’. His agency reported that after his first appearance as a charming youthful boy, Sanha is ready to show his "mature charms" as an actor.

Web drama ‘Your Playlist’
The web drama ‘Your Playlist’ in centered on the friendship between a secret composer, fans, and friends through a music playlist shared on social media. It is a new concept for a Korean drama with the playlist's music representing the story being told in each episode. Yoon Sanha takes on the role of Big Daddy, a popular idol in the show, portraying a witty and friendly ‘power insider’. In addition to the sensuous visual beauty, the magic of online friendship, and high-quality music, the show seems to be geared at giving audiences exactly what they most desire.
The character of Big Daddy first appears as a transfer student at Myeongseong High School in the drama. He falls in love at first sight with Haeun, played by the singer and rapper of the K-pop group Dreamnote, Park Sumin. Big Daddy confesses his love to Haeun, who is the class leader.
Star-studded drama
Both Sanha and Sumin are active as idols in the music industry but are expected to make an impact as actors on this show as well. It is also reported that actor and model, Han Kichan — who appeared in the beloved Korean BL (boy love) drama ‘Where Your Eyes Linger’ — alongwith actors Kim Jihoon and Han Seoul from Mnet’s ‘Produce 101’ are going to join the drama too.
‘Your Playlist’ will be released exclusively in Korea on October 15 via various platforms as well as the ‘Hello Live’ applications around the world. This will be Dreamnote’s Sumin’s debut as an actress while this is the fifth time Sanha has been cast as an actor. He appeared as Tae Oh in the 2019 drama ‘Love Formula 11M’ as well as the character Angel Mireal in the 2019 drama, ‘Soul Plate,’ among other roles.
