New K-pop boy group Younite is already set to come back with their second mini-album ‘Youni-Q’ on July 25. Continuing with their colourful concept that showed off their boyish charms during their debut, ‘Youni-Q’ is similarly an energetic first comeback, perfect for the summer. While their debut mini-album had six tracks, ‘Youni-Q’ is a five-track album with the title track ‘Aviator’. It will be released three months after the boys’ debut in April with ‘Youni-Birth’. Their first album had taken the K-pop scene by storm as Younite had charted in the top 10 of Gaon Album Chart and even topped iTunes charts.

Younite is a nine-member group that debuted under Brand New Music, home to the popular boy group AB6IX. They turned heads as several of the members are known faces. Eunsang won Produce X 101 and had debuted with X1. Meanwhile, Kyungmun had participated in the PSY-JYP survival show ‘Loud’. We also have rapper Dey gathering fans from his ‘High School Rapper 4’ days. Well, following their successful debut, fans were pleasantly surprised that Younite would be returning as quick as in 3 months for their first comeback with ‘Youni-Q.

Concept

Fans are already in love with Younite’s creative concepts. Well, for ‘Youni-Q’, it seems that we are getting a space theme, complete with astronaut uniforms and rockets for the album teasers. For the first concept photo, the boys opt for a refreshing and summer vibe as they don white and denim outfits while posing with a blue background.

In the second concept photo, Younite look chic in fashionable and patterned outfits, complete with accessories and floral props. For the last concept photo, we get back to the space theme, as the group wears purple overalls and pose with kitschy props like heart-shaped goggles and candy. They give a funky yet playful vibe reminiscent of their debut concept.

Music video teaser

Younite released two music video teasers for ‘Aviator’. In the first, the members are in a spaceship with intense lighting, surrounded by strong hip-hop beats while dancing to the hook choreography that looks like an airplane wing. In the second teaser, it looks like the boys are in a press conference hall where they do a victory dance while singing “Start it up we coming up/It’s over."
