YOUNITE 'YOUNI-BIRTH': Release date, tracks and all about their debut EP
Looks like as the debut of Brand New Music’s new boy group YOUNITE nears, the anticipation for their first official release increases amongst fans. YOUNITE is the upcoming nine-member boy group from the label Brand New Music which is home to the K-pop group AB6IX. The group is their first boy group in three years and all nine members of the group were revealed via SNS back in February 2022. Now as the boy group nears their debut, it has been revealed that they will release a mini-album instead of a single album like most groups have done in the past.
Brand New Music also revealed the mystery behind the name of the boy group as a prologue film revealed ‘You & I’ that turned into ‘UNI’ eventually revealing the group name and logo - YOUNITE. The group name also talked about a connection the members aim to build with their fans as the phrase “We are connected” is heard just as the word "Uni" appears on the screen. Fans who are eager to see the pre-debut group will now be able to see YOUNITE make their debut with the EP titled ‘YOUNI-BIRTH’ that drops with six tracks.

Release date
YOUNITE is all set to make its debut with its first mini-album titled ‘YOUNI-BIRTH’ which will release on April 20 at 6 pm KST (4 am ET).

With the names of all members written on the tracklist, the released image revealed the names of the six tracks which will be released with YOUNITE’s debut album. The album will have two title tracks, leading fans to wonder if the pre-debut boy group is set to drop two music videos for both title tracks. Alongside the double title tracks, ‘1 of 9’ and ‘Everybody’, the six songs on the album are set to show YOUNITE's unique charm and confidence in the sea of new groups that are on their way to making a debut in the days to come.
Concept
In a series of concept photos released, members of YOUNITE are seen in colorful fits like red and white uniforms. Other concept photos were also released thereafter where members flaunted their respective hair colors and exuded a fresh charm with the concept of young boys who dressed in school uniforms. The upcoming album from YOUNITE will present the members of the groups as young high school kids as they embark on a new journey with this debut.
Teaser
YOUNITE released the teaser for one of their two title tracks called ‘1 of 9’, where the members appeared one after another as an addictive chorus played in the background. Various scenarios like the members going on a date with a teddy bear or while they performed a to a cheerful chorus and more from the teaser are raising curiosity amongst fans in anticipation of YOUNITE’s upcoming debut.
