Diamond interrupts Zari's love life with Andile

Diamond finds himself increasingly frustrated with his friend, Andile, who is flirting with Zari, the mother of Diamond's children. Although Diamond has moved on from his relationship with Zari, he can't help but feel uneasy about his friend showing interest in her among all the other available women.

Throughout the series, Diamond makes his discomfort known, even after Andile attempts to have a mature conversation about the situation. On the other hand, Zari firmly believes that Diamond has no right to interfere in her personal affairs, despite their co-parenting responsibilities. Whenever Zari is seen talking to Andile, she faces multiple interruptions from other cast members. She voices her objection, asserting that she has the freedom to do as she pleases, just like Diamond does, and that others should not meddle in her relationship with Andile.

The undeniable chemistry between Andile and Zari becomes apparent throughout the series. They are seen embracing each other for longer periods, displaying a level of intimacy and comfort that raises eyebrows. They even express missing each other openly. However, Diamond takes issue with their public affection, constantly calling out Andile. Fans perceive Diamond as a controlling figure in this scenario, although there seems to be no reason for his concerns, as Zari and Diamond are no longer together and are free to date other people.

'DIAMOND U DO NOT OWN ZARI'

Fans called out Diamond for his controlling behavior towards Zari. One tweeted, "Zari don’t give a damn about Diamond. Sis be living her life outside of him. Diamond is the one who still gets triggered. It’s so weird how other women attack her over someone she left lol." While another said, "Zari can't look at Andile with Diamond turning into a lemon and his here talking about he wanna make Fantana squirt." One even pointed out, "Diamond really has these women believing that Zari is preventing him from moving on and his the one actively c**kblocking her He got jokes." Another slammed Diamond saying, "Diamond is not attractive I don’t know what these women see in him." Tweets like, "Zari and Diamond should be together and put their next partners out of misery and their toxic situation" and "Diamond u r there to talk about music and start talking about squirting? Have some decorum," were also seen.
