'Worst Cooks in America': Who is Jonathan Hanna? Meet the goofy contestant who lasted just one episode
Fans and channel surfing viewers who might've landed on Food Network on Sunday, January 3, night were in for a treat with the season premiere of 'Worst Cooks in America'. The show first aired on Food Network exactly 11 years ago and since then has served as one of the best sources of entertainment for people across the country.
What plays in the favor of this show is the casting. They scour some of the worst talents from across the country, some absolutely disastrous cooks with endearing personalities and warm stories about why they want to learn how to cook, and put them on the show. This, not only with a promise to impart decent culinary skills in them but also with the lure of a grand prize of $25,000 taken home by the last cook standing in the competition.
One such contestant on the recently premiered Season 21 was Jonathan Hanna. The ones who tuned in to the episode know that he was a part of Carla Hall's 'Bodacious Blue Diamonds' team and vivacity was obvious from the time he was introduced. For viewers who thought he looked familiar, here's some news. This is not Jonathan's first TV gig but he was also a star on Netflix's 2019 show 'Dating Around', a job that is listed on his IMDB profile as well as his Instagram bio.
Jonathan was quite interesting to watch. Flailing his hands around while talking about his hand modeling job was very fun to see and so was his extremely pointed mustache and his shiny bald head that added to his personality. He was a complete failure in the kitchen and doled out not one but two bad dishes with no redeeming qualities and that is the reason he ended up in the bottom two from the blue team.
When the time came to choose for Carla to choose between McKayla Carter and Jonathan, the latter was given the boot. Jonathan may have lasted in the competition for just one episode but he has surely left an impact and viewers who wish to keep up with him could do so on his Instagram page where he continues to share his shenanigans with his odd 1k followers.
'Worst Cooks in America' airs on Sundays at 9 pm ET on Food Network.
