'With Love' Ending Explained: Does love find its way to the ones yearning for it?
Amazon Prime's 'With Love' is an upcoming rom-com TV series. The show is created by Gloria Calderon Kellett and is scheduled to premiere on the popular streaming service on December 17, 2021.
The show, created by Kellett, will also be executive produced by her, along with Meera Menon. The comedy features the Diaz siblings - Lily (played by Emeraude Toubia) and Jorge Diaz (played by Mark Indelicato), who are both on an unwavering mission to find their life's purpose.

The good news is that the fifth and final episode of 'With Love' begins with a banger twist - the couple we're rooting for, Lily and Santiago, are no longer together. Santiago seems pretty upset about the split, while Lily is out partying and making out with random strangers.
We come to know that it didn't work out because of their differences in opinion regarding love; Santiago's even married at this point. In other news, Lily's brother, Jorge, moved to California with beau Henry after the latter is offered a job there. And although Jorge still misses home, he is too scared to tell Henry, and so, just goes with the flow. Lily's cousin, Sol, whose relationship with Dr Miles is blossoming at a fast pace, ends on a happy note.
Soon, it's time for Lily's family's annual Dia de los Muertos celebration. During a party, Lily bumps into her ex Santiago, after a year-long gap. In the brief exchange of pleasantries, Lily learns that Santiago is now a married man, acknowledging how happy she is that they've both moved on.
Between meeting Santiago and living in the present, we're made to see Lily's personality and character growth over the past year; she's no longer the person she once was (who serenaded her ex on Christmas day after she dumped him!). Although she realizes this, Lily thinks she might have been mistaken about Santiago, who on the other hand, has his dad talk him through his life choices. In short, he hints to Santiago about winning Lily back.
In the last leg of the series, Jorge Sr has a heart attack. When he gets better, Lily learns from her mom that the reason behind his strain was most definitely their ongoing marital problems, which comes as a shock to Lily. She had always worshipped her parents and the companionship they shared, rooting for a similar undying love for herself someday. But of course, she couldn't be more wrong.
With this lesson hitting her hard, Lily decides to apologize to Santiago, but as love is magical as always, Santiago shows up at the hospital to take Lily back, and the two make up.
The final leg of the fifth episode shows love and life coming a full circle; Jorge Jr and Henry have moved back home, Jorge Sr and Beatriz put their past aside and work on their marriage, Lily and Santiago are deep in love like they first were, as are Dr Murphy and Sol.
Since no series can end without a cliffhanger, Lily's grandmother finds a wedding ring on the evening of Christmas Eve. Whose is it? Most importantly, who will be asked the big question? Will it be Lily, Sol, or Jorje Jr?
