AGOURA HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Fans of the show 'The Bachelor' Season 28 expressed immense support for contestant Maria Gerogas, praising her standout personality and character throughout the show.

Despite rumors circulating about her elimination, fans remained divided in their reactions. Some fervently hoped that the rumors were untrue, while others accepted the possibility, envisioning Maria as a deserving candidate for the role of the next Bachelorette.

The speculation around Maria's journey on the show sparked considerable discussion and anticipation among fans, who were more than eager to see her back on the ABC show.

Fans of 'The Bachelor' expressed their views on social media and rooted for Maria Georgas as the next Bachelorette.

A user wrote, "#TheBachelor wishing the best for Maria and Joey…. but I NEED Maria to be the bachelorette@BachelorABC it’s what she deserves."

"MARIA AS THE NEXT BACHELORETTE WHO SAYS NO," added another. "Starting the campaign for Maria as the next bachelorette," said another fan. 

"I’m so tired of confident, opinionated women being branded as “bullies” on shows like 'The Bachelor', Maria for Bachelorette," added one. Others felt she deserved to be the Bachelorette, if not the winner. "If Maria doesn’t get the proposal, she needs to be the next Bachelorette."

Maria took to her TikTok to share insights into her journey on the show and reflected on various aspects of her experience, talking about the challenges she faced.

“If I could go back, honestly, I would do things differently, especially when whatever you’re gonna say or do is just not gonna make the other person happy,” Maria said.

She adds, “So, next time, I’m just gonna zip it. When it comes to defending my character, I will stand up for myself every damn time."

She spoke on how it was to be respected. "You should always be nice to everyone you meet, to everyone around you. People must earn your respect".

“I don’t like to put myself in situations where I feel like I need to be on the attack. I don’t like to put myself in situations where I’m dealing with petty fights. I don’t because there are things far worse that are going on in people’s lives. And I just felt so lucky to be there," she added. 

Is 'The Bachelor' contestant Maria Georgas eliminated?  

Reality Steve reports that Maria advances to the Hometown Dates stage on the show. However, despite making it to this stage, she is ultimately eliminated, becoming the fourth finalist.

Interestingly, other contestants who had expressed criticism towards Maria, including Gordon, Cayanan, and to some extent, Alam, are sent home before Maria.

Joey Graziadei visits Maria's hometown in Canada, but she is eliminated right after the hometown dates. The specific reasons for Maria's elimination, including whether the earlier negativity played a role in Graziadei's decision, remain undisclosed.
