LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'America's Got Talent: Fantasy League' Season 1 Qualifier 3 round had a series on talented contestants who elevated the NBC show to new heights. However, one contestant from Howie Mandel's dream team seemingly failed to impress judges Mel B and Simon Cowell.

Noise Maker Genevieve Cote impersonated the sounds of monkeys, animal footsteps, and thunderclouds during her approximately one-minute act. While Howie was very proud of his team member's performance, Mel B and Simon had a different opinion.

Simon noted about Genevieve, "You're very interesting." The NBC show judge further noted, "Look it is incredible but then I'm thinking in the context of Vegas show which is how you gonna sit there two hours and listen to a frog."

Howie chimed in to defend Genevieve, saying, 'No, but she does so much more. I think it's great."

Meanwhile, Mel had similar thoughts to Simon and she claimed, "I was confused because I didn't know what animal was what."

She suggested, "I think I would've liked to go like this is an elephant." However, Howie made it clear that there was no elephant in Genevieve's act and stated, "What is wrong with both of you a frog and an elephant."

Mel showed her disapproval, stating, "Howie I think you have to take this as a no and maybe you need to approach mentoring a little bit differently." Howie trolled Mel and Simon, exclaiming, "They don't understand animals unless it's a dog."

He explained, "It's like a soundtrack, animal sounds and music and singing come out of one person. You took me off to the rainforest. I love this." He further said, "Whether you guys liked this my act it's not up to you. It's up to the audience."

Why did Howie Mandel choose Genevieve Cote?

'America's Got Talent' judge Howie Mandel seemed to be a huge fan of Genevieve Cote and he was quite excited when he chose her. According to Howie Genevieve has a very unique talent and which could help them to win the NBC spinoff show.

During the drafting session, Howie claimed, "One of the most unique... One of the most exciting moments I have had in television is not on 'America's Got Talent'... it was on 'Canada's Got Talent.'" He further revealed, "This was my Golden Buzzer and this woman gonna take us a new place."

Howie's choice was seemingly not welcomed by other judges as they were left a bit bewildered.

However, while mentoring Genevieve, Howie appreciated her unique talent and admitted, "I'm so excited to be working with you. I think what you do is like a movie soundtrack and that's what you have to do."

Genevieve shared similar enthusiasm and noted, "Today I'm competing from best of the best. I'm gonna win not just for me but for Howie."

Genevieve Cote is the first ever Noise Maker to compete in 'AGT'
