When it comes to luxury brands, the name of the boy group BTS goes synonymously with them. Be it FIFA or Vogue or Samsung and Hyundai, BTS is on the map as being the global ambassadors of many leading brands. Just as these brands would like it, anything that BTS promotes is bound to be sold out immediately, all thanks to the 'rich ARMY' that exists.

Now as the 2022 FIFA World Cup approaches, there have been reports that the boy group will be teaming up with the brand Hyundai one more time for the upcoming Worldcup that will be held in Qatar. On July 28, various media outlets reported that BTS will be participating in Hyundai's new project, 'Team Century'. This team is unique as it is only made up of the seven members of BTS who ironically, all have the same jersey number - 7.

BTS to release a new single for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar

Back in April of 2022, BTS collaborated with Hyundai for their project, 'Goal of the Century' where the boy group promoted sustainability for the brand - Hyundai Motors. Now, months following that, it has been reported that BTS will be coming together as Hyundai's representative team - 'Team Century' as they help support the campaign started by the vehicle brand. Since Hyundai Motors are official partners of the '2022 FIFA World Cup' which will be held in Qatar in 2022, many fans are waiting for confirmed news about BTS' upcoming participation in the world cup.

Over the years, aside from the sport itself, a lot of attention has been paid to the famous artists that sing the FIFA Anthem. From singers like Shakira, Pitbull, and Jennifer Lopez who are some of the recent artists to be associated with the Football World Cup, BTS being the current generation's top artist, it is highly likely that the boy group will sing the official anthem for the 2022 World Cup. However, nothing has been officially confirmed so far, it has been reported that BTS will be releasing a new single in collaboration with the '2022 FIFA World Cup' that will be released in the second half of 2022. 

Other than the upcoming single, BTS will also be participating in a giveaway with Hyundai Motors for their project, 'Hyundai Goal of the Century Pledge' which will start from July 29 onwards and will end on September 30. Participants can submit their sustainability pledge via the FIFA app to be a part of the giveaway. 11 Winners of the giveaway will receive a trip to Qatar to watch the '2022 FIFA World Cup' live.
