LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Dance Moms' star Abby Lee Miller has been a controversial instructor and her teaching methods were continuously questioned throughout her Lifetime show gig. A source shared with People, that the Lifetime show stars didn’t want to relive the trauma that Abby had caused them. The performers were allegedly approached first and made it clear that they would not appear in the reunion special if Abby was invited.

Abby was apparently never even asked to join the former cast members, Chloé Lukasiak, Brooke Hyland, Paige Hyland, Kendall Vertes and their mothers. However, Jojo Siwa called the snub 'stupid' and noted, "They didn’t ask her to be part of the reunion, which honestly, for me, I thought was stupid. I think you can’t have a Dance Moms reunion without Abby."
