LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In the tenth episode of 'The Voice' Season 25, two immensely talented contestants, Mafe and Rivers Grayson, graced the stage with their breathtaking rendition of the timeless classic 'You've Got A Friend' originally sung by the iconic duo Carole King and James Taylor.

As their mesmerizing voices harmoniously intertwined, the entire audience was captivated by their immense talent and undeniable chemistry. The heartfelt lyrics, coupled with their flawless delivery, left the judges and viewers alike in awe.

Mafe and Rivers' passionate performance truly showcased their exceptional vocal abilities and artistic interpretation. Their rendition of this beloved song served as a heartwarming reminder of the power of friendship and the strength it brings during challenging times.

The audience couldn't help but be moved by their soulful interpretation, which transported them to a place of warmth, connection, and unity.

Following their impressive display in the battle, their coach John Legend commented on the singers' vocal abilities, noting that both possess understated and nuanced voices that set them apart.

During the intense competition, John Legend emphasized the importance of standing out, reassuring the contestants that being the biggest vocalist is not always the sole criterion for success.

Acknowledging the unique talent and potential in Mafe, Legend decided to advance her to the next round, the Knockouts. Unfortunately, Rivers did not receive any steals from the other judges, leading to his unfortunate departure from the competition.

Following that, the audience began to express their opinions on the showdown between Mafe and Rivers, with a significant number of people noting their disappointment in Rivers' vocal performance.

An X user said, "Sorry, Rivers was a big disappointment here. Whispered the lyrics rather than sang them."

Another user added, "Rivers needed to up the volume just a bit. Could barely hear him over a whisper."

A user chimed in, "I couldn’t hear rivers."

One user said, "To soft."
