LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Seeking funding to propel her firm to the next level, Veon Brewster, CEO of Veba Baby, and a dedicated mother balancing a full-time role at Google, presented a compelling proposal fit for national television.

Despite her best efforts, Veba Baby CEO Veon Brewster was forced to exit 'Shark Tank' with her husband Sean Brewster without a deal in hand.

Veon entered the Tank to introduce her innovative product to mothers and infant caregivers who want to ensure that each milk feeding is fresh, temperature-regulated, and completely safe for babies. Her pitch sought $150K in exchange for a 15% stake in the world's first baby bottle monitor that measures temperature and expiration in real-time.

Despite high hopes, including those of Veon and her husband Sean, for a deal, the anticipated outcome didn't materialize, even with another mother on set, Emma Grede. The mother-of-four was skeptical of the device's necessity since she did not feel it was a serious enough problem to warrant purchasing the device.

Even Shark Robert Herjavec, a father of three children with his wife, couldn't relate to a situation like this. Veon, unfortunately, had to leave the Tank, her dream unfulfilled.

What is Veba baby?

The smart monitor includes a built-in timer that activates when a bottle is prepared. While remaining connected to the bottle, the thermos-detector monitors the ambient temperature of the milk and updates the expiration date.

In addition, the Veba Baby Bottle Monitor sensor continuously updates the milk's expiration date in the bottle. Its user-friendly software enables parents to make use of a variety of additional smart features, including meal portion tracking, expiry reminders, feeding sessions, and the Find My Bottle tool, which helps them locate missing bottles.

What is the cost of Veba baby?

The Veba Baby Bottle Monitor can be purchased straight from Veba's official website. One smart monitor costs $129.

However, if you buy two monitors, you could save $116.50 each. Aside from that, the product is available on Amazon for the same price.

Veon and Sean displayed Veba Baby items at the Prego Expo in October 2023, increasing the brand's visibility.

Who is Veon Brewster?

Veon, a doctoral student and full-time working mother of one, serves as the program manager lead for user experience research at Google while pursuing her PhD in computer science. Recognizing the limitations of traditional methods such as sticky notes and handwritten timetables in preserving expressed breast milk and infant formula, she sought a more efficient and technologically advanced solution.

Veba Baby was created as the world's first baby bottle monitor that checks temperature and expiration in real time.

In 2023, she participated in Techstars, the top early-stage venture financing accelerator. The comprehensive three-month program gave her access to financial, human, and intellectual capital that would help her firm succeed.

Leaders were intrigued by Veon's invention and offered her early finance.
