‘RHOBH’ Season 15 Finale Recap: Dorit’s big night turns awkward after Kyle, Erika and Sutton don’t show up
‘RHOBH’ Season 15 Episode 18, titled, “Closing Chapters” started with Erika Jayne arriving at Sutton Stracke’s house instead of Dorit’s book party. The two enjoyed drinks and reflected on previous events. “I mean, are the aliens here? Like, I don’t know, did Christ come back?” said Erika. Sutton recalled Rachel’s party and noted that it was “a lot.” She was unhappy with Dorit’s behavior towards her. In her private confessional, she noted that Dorit had been treating her “poorly” and that it showed their relationship which was “nothing.” Erika noted that Kyle was also not going to attend Dorit’s event.
Meanwhile at Dorit’s book cover reveal party, things got intense after Jennifer Tilly’s Gucci 2024 Crystal Teddy Bear broke down. “That’s a $40,000 bear,” noted Bozoma. Dorit felt sick. Dorit and Boz talked about why Kyle was not at the event. It was because she felt “tired and overwhelmed.” However, the two talked about how she could have come for 30 minutes. The latter noted that, “Kyle is making it really, really difficult to continue to defend that I believe her intentions are good.” Dorit also noted that Erika did not attend her party. At Sutton’s house, she and Erika were wondering whether Dorit was “gonna be mad” about their absence.
At the party, Dorit delivered her speech and later 'RHOBH' cast members took pictures. “I’m literally dead. It’s giving me like, ‘I don’t give a f**k, but I still look hot,” confessed Rachel. Dorit, in her private confessional, stated that it was “wild” to her that while Amanda attended and to support her, but her two closest friends did not attend. Later, Dorit thanked fellow 'RHOBH' cast members for attending and also mentioned that Boz had something to share. Boz showed off her engagement ring and noted that they already had champagne to celebrate. Everyone cheered and congratulated her. Dorit said that they had a lot to celebrate along with her book reveal. “I look around, and I’m reminded who and what is important, and who shows up when you need the most,” confessed Dorit.
Further in the 'RHOBH' episode, Kyle’s daughter, Alexia, discussed her upcoming wedding details with her sisters Farrah and Sophia. Soon, Kyle also joined them as they planned logistics and other things. With her daughter’s wedding just around the corner, Kyle confessed that it felt “like a lot. Great, but a lot.” While talking about all the “big life moments,” Kyle got emotional in her confession. She felt strange and overwhelmed. Elsewhere in the episode, Rachel and Dorit talked about who didn’t attend her party. They were referring to Erika, Sutton, and Kyle. Rachel noted how Dorit and Kyle were “not in a good place” with each other. The two also talked about Kathy’s party. Dorit noted that she was ready to have a sit down with Kyle, if she were to agree to that. The latest episode also featured Kathy’s daughter, Nicky Hilton’s jewelry launch. Viewers witnessed things getting heated up between Dorit, Kyle, and Erika. While Kyle recalled the times she had supported Dorit, she also mentioned how Dorit had “fought with everybody.”
