Why did 'The Voice' coaches not turn for The Little Miss? Disappointed fans say 'passing up some really good people'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: With only two spots left in each of 'The Voice' coaches' teams, the coaches were left with no choice but to be very picky and cautious while choosing the final additions to their respective teams. As a result some very talented artists ended up leaving with no chair turn, such as The Little Miss.
31-year-old The Little Miss performed to Jewel's 'You Were Meant for Me' for her blind audition. Despite her impeccable vocals, unfortunately, the California resident failed to get a chair turn from the coaches, thus cutting short her journey on the singing competition show. Though Blake Shelton later felt like he made a mistake by not turning for her, fans couldn't help but slam the coaches for not giving her a chance.

Several fans took to the show's YouTube clip of her performance to express their surprise over Little Miss not getting any chair turn. A fan commented, "I loved her sound ! No chairs hate that nobody did ! She has potential and could have gone places ! Shame!" "Great performance.pretty voice.! I can't believe no one turned," wrote a fan. "They are passing up some really good people. Liked the earliest talkie parts of the song best. The heady parts were a little shaky," noted a fan.
Many fans also urged Little Miss to not give up just yet and to try again next year. A fan shared, "The little misses has a beautiful voice and I would pushed for her and she is definitely country and I hope she comes back to the voice show and choose a country song that the coaches knows and I wanna tell the little misses she received 27 percent of america vote tonight on the voice show." "Oh gosh it was such a short performance! Unless they secretively clipped it or something. Her voice sounds really connected and smooth. Hope she comes back and gets a turn!" seconded a fan. "Her tone is so good! her nerves and song arrangement i think hindered her :(," speculated a fan.
The Little Miss aka Hayley Johnson felt that her name was too boring so she decided to use the nickname her father gave her as her nickname. The California resident revealed that she gave up pursuing music full-time and took up a teaching job to pay her bills. Despite adapting to her new career, Little Miss still found it hard to completely give up on her dreams of being a singer. So she decided to try out for 'The Voice'.
