Why did Stassi Schroeder turn down 'The Valley'? 'Vanderpump Rules' alum reflects on reasons for saying no to spinoff
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Stassi Schroeder appears to have distanced herself from 'Vanderpump Rules' stars, citing this as one reason for declining the spinoff 'The Valley.' During SiriusXM's Jeff Lewis Live show, she clarified that Bravo was not at fault for her absence. Stassi disclosed that Bravo had asked her to film a promotional sizzle reel for the upcoming show.
In her refusal, Stassi explained, "Yeah, so once this idea was brought up and they were like, 'Okay, we're gonna film a sizzle with all the people that would be on it. Will you be on it and film the sizzle?' and every fiber of my being voted no, like truly." Stassi admitted there were "a lot of different reasons" behind rejecting Bravo's 'The Valley,' emphasizing, "First of all, it wouldn't be a reflection of what my reality is."
She further clarified that she's not friends with any 'Vanderpump Rules' alums or 'The Valley' casts, stating, "I'm friendly with some of them. I'm acquaintances with some of them and some of the new ones too I think are lovely, but it's not my crew." Despite having the opportunity to connect with the cast of 'The Valley,' Stassi deliberately chose not to. She explained, "I don't want to. I don't want to have to go and do things that I normally wouldn't do. I don't want to disrupt the life that I have right now because I really like my life right now. Well, when they filmed the sizzle, I was still friends with everyone and I still was like, 'No.'"
Is Stassi Schroeder friends with any of the 'Vanderpump Rules' stars?
Despite distancing herself from 'Vanderpump Rules' stars "not my crew," Stassi clarified that some remain her good friends. She mentioned maintaining friendships with Lala Kent, Katie Maloney, Tom Schwartz, and Scheana Shay. Stassi noted, "I talk to Scheana every now and then like her kid came to my kid's birthday party." However, it seems she doesn't classify any of them as close friends.
