‘Love Is Blind’ Season 10 contestant quietly left the show and her reason will surprise you: ‘I was dating...’
Netflix's 'Love Is Blind' Season 10 has become the talk of the town, all thanks to its playful twist on modern romance. While some singles found love on the show, others weren't as lucky. Cincinnati native Priyanka Grandhi appeared in the early episodes of 'Love Is Blind,' Season 10, and was seen supporting fellow cast members, but none of her pod dates were shown. In a bombshell revelation, Grandhi, who was largely absent from the final edit, opened up about her experience on the show. She explained why she exited the show midway, and her reasoning makes a lot of sense.
She addressed the situation in a social media video, opening up about her experience, candidly admitting that dating is genuinely difficult. Grandhi said, "I have been super excited to kind of share more about my experience in the pods. The lounge experience, I think, was one of my favorites. I made lifelong friendships." She continued, "What actually happened, yes, I was dating. No, I was not a hired counselor in the lounge, that was a hilarious theory." Grandhi added, "There are so many other funny theories out there and I've enjoyed reading every single one of them." Grandhi then explained that she did form real connections in the pods, saying, "There are a couple of guys that are being featured who I did have a connection with and they were probably like my top three to four people. So, you know, I was actively dating as well."
She revealed that one relationship progressed to the end of the pod experience, sharing, "Ultimately, I did end up with one person. We made it to the end of the pod dating experience. I think it just wasn't, or I wasn't fully aligned.” Grandhi said she chose to end the relationship and "leave the experiment," adding that she has no regrets and believes she ultimately matched with the person she was "most compatible with." Talking about her decision to join the show, Grandhi shared that she struggled to find a meaningful connection through dating apps or everyday encounters and hadn't been in a relationship for 11 years when the show began.
Explaining why she joined the experiment, she said, "When this opportunity came about, I was like, 'OK, this is kind of cool. Might as well give it a shot. I mean, nothing else has worked,'" as per nbc4i.com. Recalling the early pod experience, Grandhi added, "I've never done that in real life, so that was interesting to have to really quickly try to get to know 16 people and then be like, 'OK, who am I not compatible with?'" Grandhi then described the pod experience as deeply emotional and immersive, explaining that being cut off from phones and family forced contestants to connect intensely with each other and reflect inward.
