LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: JoJo Siwa will soon be appearing in 'Dance Moms: The Reunion' which is set to debut on May 1, 2024, at 8 pm ET only on Lifetime.

JoJo Siwa who is a singer, dancer, actress, and social media star became a part of the 'Dance Moms' cast during Season 5 after initially meeting teacher Abby Lee Miller on 'Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition' in its second season.

Despite only placing fifth on the competition show, JoJo caught Miller's attention and was invited to join the team as a guest. Determined to become a permanent member of the Junior Elite Competition Team, JoJo worked hard and eventually earned a spot on the team.

In a video uploaded on her YouTube channel, JoJo expressed her love for 'Dance Moms,' calling it her "dream show" and one of the best experiences of her life. She spoke highly of the show and the opportunities it provided her, emphasizing that she would never speak negatively about it.

Ultimately, JoJo decided to leave the show due to an incredible opportunity with Nickelodeon that she couldn't turn down. JoJo and her mother Jessalynn Siwa were part of the team until the second half of Season 6 when they left the show after JoJo signed a deal with Nickelodeon.

Talking about her time on 'Dance Moms', the 'Boomerang' singer said, “It was honestly one of the best things I’ve ever done. But, the only reason I left is because I had a really good opportunity to take with Nickelodeon and I felt that that was the right thing to do for me at the time and so now look where I am now."
