OAK ISLAND, NORTH CAROLINA: 'Battle On The Beach' Season 4 renovators have recently competed in the finale and redecorated the house deck. However, Samantha and Sean Kilgore from the team Taniya Nayak won the renovation competition and bagged a $50,000 cash prize.
Sam and Sean competed with Ty Pennington's crew, Kristin and Chyenne Smith as well as Alison Victoria's team Brandon Parker and Teresa Robinson. Sam and Sean notably added a surprising 47% value to the house which had $788,750 of its starting value. Team Taniya had just 36 hours to complete the renovation of the assigned area. However, they turned the deck into a relaxing, comfortable kitchen space by adding multiple elements.
The HGTV show teams were allotted $100,000 at the beginning of the season and they were left with $9,500 for the renovation of the deck. However, they were judged by their overall house renovation. Team Taniya faced some difficulties during the renovation as they had a small space. Taniya encouraged Sam and Sean to move walls and combine two small bedrooms to make the most of their square footage.
After winning the competition, Sam noted, "Having such a valuable mentor, that is what got us where we're at right now." Meanwhile, Sean added, "I think we did a good job on that place, but I didn't think 47%. Huge numbers." They hope to enjoy a great vacation with their winning prize.

Sam told the cameras, "We put so much work in for the back of the house, the side of the house, lots of custom-builds. Just feels so good that all the work we put in." The winning team Taniya used the additional budget to fix their blunder. They were previously criticized for a small and unfinished closet but they decided to convert it into a cozy and beautiful closet.
