KYOTO, JAPAN: Apple TV+, renowned for its extensive collection of mystery and sci-fi series, is set to expand its lineup with 'Sunny', a new show that offers a stellar combination of mystery and dark humor.
The official synopsis for 'Sunny' reads, "The life of an American woman living in Kyoto, Japan, is upended when her husband and son disappear in a mysterious plane crash. As consolation, she's given Sunny, one of a new class of domestic robots made by her husband's electronic company."
'Sunny' is a television adaptation of 'The Dark Manual', a 2018 novel by Colin O'Sullivan. The intense series is backed by a strong cast, ready to win your hearts with their compelling performances.
