TOKYO, JAPAN: Netflix’s upcoming Japanese original series, Sanctuary, boasts a large ensemble cast that includes some of Japan’s most talented actors. The show is a YA drama set within the reclusive world of professional sumo wrestling and follows a delinquent who becomes a sumo apprentice and clashes with a voiceless wrestler holding a secret. The series provides a raw and authentic portrayal of the world of professional sumo and the young men who strive for wealth, love, recognition, and authority.
