Who stars in 'Rock The Block' Season 5? Meet the cast and judges of HGTV's home renovation series
TREASURE ISLAND, FLORIDA: HGTV's 'Rock The Block' Season 5 is all set to air on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 9/8c. Previous seasons are available to watch on Max.
In 'Rock the Block', Season 5 four groups of home renovators work within a $250,000 budget and six weeks to renovate waterfront homes using inventive concepts that suit the coastal environment.
As presented by the season's presenter, Ty Pennington, the task for the participants is to turn the houses into opulent residences while incorporating a touch of their distinctive design and style.
Judges include Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson, Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt, Kristina Crestin, Veronica Valencia, and Michel Smith Boyd.
The season finale will feature Property Brothers star Jonathan Scott, who will tour each home and decide on the winning team.
The four professional teams are well-known for their fierce rivalry, and the seaside environment adds to the strong battle.
The season debuts in Treasure Island, Florida which has many dilapidated houses.
At the beginning of the trailer, we get introduced to the four teams consisting of Bryan and Sarah Baeumler, Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas, Lindsay Lamb, and Leslie Davis, and Page Turner and Mitch Glew.
Through various ups and downs, heated arguments, and even a coffee spill or two, the renovators work their best to make the best out of worn-down homes in Treasure Island.
Who stars in the HGTV series 'Rock The Block' Season 5?
Hosted by designing mogul Ty Pennington, the show stars Bryan and Sarah Baeumler, Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas, Lyndsay Lamb, and Leslie Davis, and Page Turner and Mitch Glew.
Bryan and Sarah Baeumler
Bryan is a licensed contractor and home renovation expert who stars alongside his wife Sarah in the HGTV series 'Renovation Island'.
They help renovate worn-down beachfront properties in the Bahamas. They also appeared on the HGTV series 'Renovation Inc'.
Apart from that Bryan is an award-winning host who has been educating viewers across Canada and the US in shows such as 'House of Bryan', 'Disaster DIY', and 'Leave it to Bryan'.
Sarah owns a lifestyle brand that inspires women with elevated design and intentional living.
In the trailer, Bryan is seen explaining how they do have an advantage over the other teams as they have experience in renovating waterfront homes.
As per the sneak peek, he seems confident that he will be winning the show.
He also grows a little impatient and mischievous as he brings a loaded truck near Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis's property where the woman gets furious and even spills coffee on the tire of the truck.
Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas
Born in West Texas, Keith Bynum is a home remodeling specialist and designer and along with his colleague, builder, and carpenter, Evan Thomas buys abandoned buildings and rehabilitates them into affordable properties.
The pair competed in 'Rock The Block' Season 3 and 'Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge'.
Keith founded his first company at 14 and has since grown it into a nationally recognized retail and manufacturing chain.
Evan, who is originally from the Midwest, earned a bachelor's degree and a PhD in Physics from the University of Colorado in Boulder.
They became interested in Detroit's revitalization while living in Colorado. After Evan finished graduate school, they relocated to Motor City to create their own real estate company that bought, renovated, and sold homes.
Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis
Lyndsay Lamb is a Washington native and also a top real estate agent who is an expert in home designing, renovation, and staging.
Her twin sister Leslie Davis is also a real estate agent who is an expert in budget and negotiations. They competed in 'Rock The Block' Season 3 and also featured in their HGTV series 'Unsellable Houses'.
Page Turner and Mitch Glew
Page Turner is a real estate agent and house flipping expert while Mitch is a contractor who helps execute Page's designs.
Mitch was born in an Australian family in Sydney and was surrounded by interior design and construction all his life. He has been a licensed contractor in California for 15 years.
'Flip or Flop Nashville' was Page's HGTV debut, and she also made an appearance as a guest judge on the popular show 'Rock the Block'.
She is a licensed real estate broker in three states and also a certified personal trainer and co-owner of the fitness and apparel company The JoPa Life.
Alongside contractor Mitch Glew, she participated in Season 4 of 'Rock the Block'.

Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson
Egypt Sherrod is a renowned real estate broker, and Mike Jackson is a builder and DJ. They appeared on HGTV's 'Married to Real Estate' series, where they made astute improvements to turn run-down houses into beautiful residences.
They participated in the 'Rock the Block' competition on HGTV as well. Kendall and Harper are Mike and Egypt's two daughters.
Their family dynamic is further enhanced by the fact that they have a daughter from a prior relationship. Their vibrant collaboration demonstrates their dedication to turning average areas into exceptional ones. They will be appearing in Episode 1 of 'Rock The Block' Season 5.
Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt
Mika Kleinschmidt, a Tampa realtor, collaborates with her husband, developer Brian Kleinschmidt, on HGTV's '100 Day Dream Home' series to build and design homes in 100 days or less.
They also won the second season of HGTV's 'Rock the Block' competition.
Kristina Crestin
Designer Kristina Crestin created a design firm, Kristina Crestin Design in 2009 where she collaborates with her team to create stunning innovative renovations.
She appeared on PBS' 'This Old House' in 2016 and won several accolades for her expertise in design including HGTV 2019 Designer of The Year.
She is from North Shore, Massachusetts, and lives with her husband Kirby, and rescue dog, Cooper. She also stars alongside farmhouse fanatic and rockstar Jonathon Knight in HGTV's 'Farmhouse Fixer' to renovate farmhouses from as early as the 1600s and renovates them.
Veronica Valencia
Veronica is a Mexican and Native American designer. She was featured in the HGTV show 'Revealed' where she and her expert team performed various home renovations inspired by unique family stories.
Her signature style is that she does thorough research on her past clients to customize designs specifically to cater to their heritage.
She has worked for over 500 makeover shows where she even met her husband ('Extreme Makeovers') and even formed a team. She is a mother of two and juggles between New York and Los Angeles.
Michel Smith Boyd
Originally from Thibodaux, Louisiana, Michel is a creative designer, owner of SMITHBOYD Interiors, and host of HGTV's 'Luxe For Less'.
His signature style is that he helps his clients rebuild and redesign their spaces into luxurious spaces on a tight budget.
He is mostly based in Atlanta for his work. He was a student at The Art Institute of Atlanta where he learned art, fashion, and interior design.
He was also seen on 'Rock The Block' Season 4 alongside Anthony Elle.
Property Brothers star Jonathan Scott
Jonathan Scott is a reality TV star and licensed contractor. He co-stars with his twin brother Drew Scott on HGTV shows like 'Property Brothers', 'Brother vs. Brother' and 'Celebrity IOU'.
He owns the Scott Brothers Entertainment and Scott Living Collection with his brother Drew. In addition, he has a black belt in karate and is interested in magic.
He will be a judge in the final episode of 'Rock The Block' Season 5.
