Air time

No release date for ‘Who Killed Sara?’ Season 3 has not been revealed yet. But the streaming service reportedly confirmed the arrival of another season during the end credits of Season 2. As soon as the end credits begin to roll, viewers could see “it’s official: Season 3 is coming” appearing on their screens. There was a gap of two months in between the first two seasons, but it might be longer this time around. Once the full schedule is available, we will update this space.

How to live stream

Just like the previous two seasons, the upcoming edition will also be premiering exclusively on Netflix. Subscribe to Netflix directly, via a mobile app store (App Store, Google Play). You can also watch Season 1 and Season 2 by signing up for the platform’s free trial. Apart from that, viewers can also opt for different subscription plans provided by the streaming giant. A premium plan that allows more people to watch the service on different screens simultaneously, costs $18 per month. Meanwhile, the basic US plan costs $9 per month.

Plot

The ending of Season 2 has made everyone believe that the person behind Sara Guzman’s death (Ximena Lamadrid) is still out there. In the finale episode, Nicandro's (Matias Novoa) conversation with Dr Alanis hints at where the story is headed next.

Viewers also got to learn that despite her confession, Marifer (Litzy) was not responsible for Sara’s tragic death. The scene also revealed that Sara was being studied for some kind of mysterious psychological project. The circumstances that led to Sara’s untimely demise will once again be the major plotline in Season 3.

Cast

All the original cast members are reportedly returning for Season 3. Manolo Cardona will return as Alex Guzman while Ximena Lamadrid will be reprising the role of Sara Guzman.  The entire Lazcano family will also be returning. Claudia Ramirez will reprise the role as the matriarch, Mariana, while Gines Garcia Milan will be returning to portray the role of Cesar, along with the Lazcano children, Elisa (Carolina Miranda), José María “Chema” Lazcano (Eugenio Siller), and Rodolfo Lazcano (Alejandro Nones).

Meanwhile, Matias Novoa will be once again playing the role of Nicandro in the upcoming season.

The series is created and penned by prolific Chilean writer Jose Ignacio Valenzuela. The Chilean writer is known for writing projects like ‘Y manana sera Otro dia mejor’, ‘Santa Diabla’ and ‘Behind Closed Doors’.
