ALWAR, RAJASTHAN: Praveen Prajapat, a talented head balancer from India, is ready to showcase his talents on 'America's Got Talent' Season 19. He previously participated in Season 9 of 'India’s Got Talent' in 2022.

Praveen comes from a family with a rich tradition of folk artists. Born in Rajasthan in 2005, he learned the art of Matka Bhawai dance, rim Bhawai dance, and Chakka Bhawai dance from his father, Banay Singh Prajapat, and Cholelal, both renowned international folk artists.

Despite his young age, Praveen has already made a name for himself in the world of traditional dance. After completing his tenth standard education in Alwar, Praveen now dedicates his time to performing with his father's folk group.

His talent has been recognized and awarded at various events, including the Jashne Bachpan-International Children Theatre Festival at the National School of Drama in New Delhi.

Praveen has received numerous accolades in Rajasthan and was also praised at the Rangotsav Festival in Mathura. With a promising future ahead of him in the vibrant world of Rajasthan's traditional folk dance, Praveen Prajapat is a name to watch out for.

Did 'AGT' Season 19 contestant Praveen Prajapat win 'India's Got Talent' Season 9?

Praveen Prajapat took part in the ninth season of 'India's Got Talent' but did not win. However, he did impress judges Kirron Kher, Shilpa Shetty, and Badshah. Shilpa was particularly impressed with his head balancing skills and even joined him on stage to balance a pot on her head.

The duo of Flute & beat-box, Divyansh & Manuraj, took home the coveted title of winners for that season, meanwhile Ishita Vishwakarma and Bomb Fire Crew secured the positions of runner-up and 2nd runner-up, respectively.

For those who may not be familiar, 'India's Got Talent' is a popular Indian talent show series that is broadcasted in Hindi and is a part of the internationally acclaimed Got Talent franchise. The show first aired on June 27, 2009 and has been a successful and entertaining platform for showcasing diverse talents ever since.
